Nota Biografica
Nata a Roma è sempre stata appassionata di arte sin da piccola. Abituata dai genitori, di origine pugliese, a frequentare musei, gallerie, esposizioni e città d’arte, frequenta il liceo classico e poi la facoltà di legge dove si laurea con lode.
Diventata avvocato lavora prima all’Università e poi presso alcuni Studi Legali. Attualmente è responsabile dell’ufficio legale di un’azienda pugliese.
Studia l’arte da autodidatta su testi di Richard Cork, Ernst Gombrich, Giulio Argan, Bonito Oliva. Parallelamente approfondisce costantemente la conoscenza delle lingue straniere da cui è molto affascinata. Inglese, francese, spagnolo prima, poi intraprende anche lo studio della lingua e cultura giapponese. Lo studio dei kanji e dei manga nutriranno la sua immaginazione e le faranno scoprire il desiderio di dipingere e disegnare.

Vena artistica svelata al culmine di un forte turbamento emotivo e di un processo di crescita interiore, è sempre stata alla ricerca di nuovi stimoli e di un senso da attribuire alla propria identità che andasse oltre la sua fisicità e il suo ruolo nella famiglia e nella società.
Essendo stata sempre molto curiosa si è cimentata negli anni nella ricerca di sé anche attraverso diversi linguaggi e culture. La sua arte intesa come linguaggio universale, si esprime in immagini cariche di sensualità e colore e i suoi dipinti diventano luogo di rifugio e di immaginazione.
Realizza i suoi dipinti sotto la spinta di forti emozioni provocati da qualcosa che ha visto, letto vissuto o solo sognato. Dipinge per imprimere il proprio sé sulla tela consapevole che il proprio sé della volta successiva non sarà più lo stesso.
Biographical Note
Born in Rome, Elena Daniela has been passionate about art since she was a child. However, she did not undertake artistic studies. Despite this, her Apulian parents exposed her to works of art by taking her to museums, galleries, exhibitions and cities of art.
She attended a classical high school and pursued law in university, where she graduated with honors. Shortly after, she took the qualifying exams for the legal profession and began working at the university doing research. Later, she moved on to various law firms and now she works as a corporate lawyer.
Nevertheless, she has never forgotten her passion for art, and she studies texts by Richard Cork, Ernst Gombrich, Giulio Argan, and Bonito Oliva on her own. Parallel to her art studies, she constantly deepens her knowledge and love of foreign languages: English, French, and Spanish. She has also taken on the study of Japanese language and culture, which has been the most recent inspiration to awaken her artistic vein.

It is a painting that springs from the artist’s intense feelings.
Her creativity was born at the height of a strong emotional period and a process of inner growth. She has always searched for new inspiration to establish an identity that went beyond that of being a worker, wife and mother.
Prior to finding her artistic outlet, she was able to discover other parts of herself through studying different languages and experiencing cultures. Her art is filled with images full of sensuality and color, in which faces, bodies, flora and fauna become a place of refuge and comfort in the face of the life’s uncertainty.
Her paintings are created through impulses, inspired by not only works of art, photographs, books or even perfume, but also thoughts, memories, aspirations never realized, and experiences never lived. These are then translated to shapes and colors on the canvas. In spite of her professional and educational background in jurisprudence, the artist is aware of the transience of life and the passing of time. She paints to imprint herself on the canvas with the knowledge that both she and her art will never be the same again.
